I'm Alison Wexler, and it is my mission to make your life easier.
Everyone can use some help around the house when the going gets tough, but not everybody has an available family member or friend who can step in to lend a hand. I moved to Alexandria with my family in 2008, and after six years here as a non-profit operations manager I decided to use my well-honed administrative and household skills to try to fill this void in our community. From its inception, Sand Garden has been about helping overextended families and professionals in Northern Virginia achieve happier and healthier lives through top-quality household management and personal assistant services, tailored to each individual client’s needs and budget.
I come to this work with loads of hands-on experience, a passion for making tangible differences in my clients’ lives, and the belief that anything can be achieved given a little thought and determination. It is my pleasure to be able to take on a wide variety of household tasks, both big and small, for my clients and to do those tasks with competence, efficiency, and a little style. I graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts high school dance program and have a B.A. and M.A. in art history, as well as a lifetime degree in surviving breast cancer. After work, I go home gratefully each day to the loves of my life: my husband, Stu, and my son, Dash.
If you are feeling overwhelmed at home, let me take the load off for you. Peace of mind is what I offer, and I look forward to learning more about your needs and how I can make a difference for you.
